Welcome to SMUKI — where rules get rewritten and style gets personal.
We don’t do mass-produced. We don’t do boring. We do bold, weird, and wildly original.
Every piece here is made to disrupt the ordinary and celebrate the beautifully strange. So scroll with intention. Shop with rebellion.
And wear what makes you feel like you — loud, quiet, chaotic, or chill

About Me

I’m the hands behind SMUKI.
I found my voice — and my fire — at 60, when SMUKI was born.

Half-Latvian, fully defiant.
Raised on scraps, stories, and survival.
I make because I must. Because the world is unraveling, and beauty is resistance.

SMUKI rose from protest. From grief.
From the need to stitch something sacred into the chaos.

I use upcycled materials in 80–90% of my creations — because discarded things still hold power. As SMUKI grows, my goal is to reach 100% upcycled — a full-circle commitment to sustainability and soul.
I handcraft because machines don’t carry memory.
I use symbols because they speak louder than slogans.

Not every piece carries protest messaging — but every piece carries meaning.
Some speak out. Some speak inward.
All are made to help you express yourself, boldly and beautifully, just as you are.

The Morning Star in my logo — Auseklis — is a Baltic protector.

It guarded my ancestors through war and resistance.
Now it guards you.

I fight fascism with thread and fire.
I make fashion that bites back.
Art is armor. Clothing is spellwork. Style is stance.

Every piece I make is one-of-a-kind.
Because you are.
Because this moment is.
Because resistance — and self-expression — should never be mass-produced.

This isn’t a straight line. It’s a constellation. A map made of fire, thread, and hyperfixations. I didn’t follow a path — I blazed one.

I found my creative voice. Not late. Just right. After decades of making, breaking, orbiting, and returning, I landed in fashion — a medium that could hold all the others.

This page is a scrapbook of my journey: The symbols that guide me. The scraps that saved me. The chaos that became clarity.

Latvian American , full of Sagittarius fire, and proudly ADHD. My brain doesn’t do straight lines — it does spirals, sparks, and sacred detours. Every obsession, every unfinished project, every stitch led me here.

Welcome to the altar. Welcome to SMUKI.
